The Unhidden 🔺

The Unhidden transforms queer figures into superheroes who refuse to hide, obey, or disappear. Each character wears the inverted triangle as an emblem, reclaiming a symbol once used to identify and persecute queer people and turning it into a mark of power, memory, and resistance.

Drawing from comic-book mythology, street art, and political iconography, the series imagines queerness not as weakness or victimhood, but as a force capable of confronting fear, conformity, religion, and authoritarian control. These heroes do not come to save the world. They exist to reclaim their place within it.
